KMD Recycling LLC

Now qualifying recurring HDPE feedstock suppliers and recycled-material buyers across the Mid-Atlantic.
ABOUT KMD RECYCLING

A focused industrial recycling company built around HDPE.

KMD Recycling LLC is based in southeastern Pennsylvania and is being developed to connect recurring post-industrial HDPE feedstock with manufacturers seeking recycled resin alternatives.
OUR FOCUS

Simple business model. Measurable value.

Acquire qualifying HDPE, process it efficiently, control output quality, and build repeat supplier and buyer relationships.
WHY KMD EXISTS

Useful plastic should remain a manufacturing input.

Industrial HDPE often retains significant value even after it no longer serves its original purpose. KMD is focused on capturing that value through disciplined sourcing, mechanical recycling, and specification-driven resale.
We are not positioning KMD as a general waste company. The initial strategy is deliberately narrow: post-industrial HDPE, commercial volumes, defined material streams, and industrial end markets.

OPERATING PRINCIPLES

What we want the company to be known for.

01

Commercially disciplined

We evaluate material based on real input cost, processing cost, freight, yield, and downstream value.
02

Specification-conscious

Resin identity, contamination, color, form, moisture, and downstream use matter more than a generic recycling label.
03

Relationship-driven

Recurring supply and offtake relationships create more value than constant one-off spot transactions.
04

Built to scale

The platform can expand from regrind into pelletizing and higher-value recycled resin programs as markets support it.
Industrial processing equipment
REGIONAL ADVANTAGE

Positioned in the Mid-Atlantic manufacturing corridor.

Southeastern Pennsylvania provides practical access to Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and surrounding industrial markets.
That geography matters because recycled-plastic economics are sensitive to freight. KMD’s sourcing model is designed to prioritize repeat commercial streams within practical trucking distance and match them with buyers where landed economics make sense.
GROWTH PATH

Regrind first. Higher-value resin as the market proves itself.

KMD’s development path is designed to add processing complexity only when customer demand supports the investment.
1

Mechanical regrind

Establish reliable sourcing, processing, QC, and customer relationships.
2

Pelletizing

Add extrusion, filtration, and pelletizing when actual buyer premiums support the conversion economics.
3

Specified recycled resin

Develop tighter grades, blending programs, and value-added resin offerings where justified.
